September 17 is World Patients Safety Day This year’s goal is, on the one hand, to raise awareness among healthcare organisations and medical staff about how to further engage and hear the voice of patients, and, on the other hand, to empower patients themselves with their voice and make them aware of the importance of their role in healthcare.<\/p>\n

In the last decades, drug therapy has made major breakthroughs that have enabled new treatment options and improved quality of life. Nevertheless, complex therapies and the use of multiple drugs result in increased risk of adverse drug reactions.<\/span><\/p>\n
