Herna Muñoz-Galeano has collected over 25 years of working experience in the fields IT, engineering and management. Herna understands that men and women often solve problems in different ways. She uses this to her advantage to develop completely new and better solutions, like the complex project “PGXperts®“.

At HMG, the workforce comprises of 50% men and 50% women and an innovative constellation of diversity, integration, participation, and mixed culture. Everyone is free to use their knowledge and their imagination and does not need to be afraid to make mistakes. By having different perspectives and strategies, men and women also use different approaches when it comes to defining and solving problems. When they work together, they complement each other perfectly.

Herna encourages women to develop a vision and gain experience as an engineer: “I want to change the world – I’m an engineer!”, is the motto of an IEEE -woman. Every woman can fulfill her dreams, and those who have already managed to succeed, should support and encourage others. “That is my attitude: By offering career prospects to qualified engineers of all ages, I inspire and encourage them.”
