The spin-off, PGXperts GmbH, is a software company dedicated to digital health. It aims to achieve better treatment outcomes in order to improve patients’ quality of life. The PGXperts solutions offer a groundbreaking approach by enabling healthcare professionals to prescribe drugs while taking pharmacogenetics into account, thus achieving personalized medication.

Fürth, May 7, 2024 – HMG Systems Engineering announces the transfer of its innovation in the field of pharmacogenetics to a new company: PGXperts GmbH. This spin-off marks an important milestone after nine years of research and development in the field of personalized medication, which was rewarded with high customer acceptance in 2023.

Congratulations on the 35th anniversary of the partnership between the Free State of Bavaria and the province of Québec. This close relationship has linked art, business and science since 1989. As part of the anniversary celebrations, our Managing Director Herna Muñoz-Galeano participated in the breakfast discussion on gender equality.

PGXpert’s Product Owner Michael Hußnätter and Business Developer Martin Gröne will participate in a Digital Health delegation trip to Montréal (Canada) and Boston (USA) from October 15 to 21.

The goal of this trip is to open up new business opportunities and strengthen existing relationships. The program includes a visit to OctoberINVESfest 2023 and a Digital Health Workshop with MEDTEQ+, a renowned Canadian healthcare network of which we became a member this year.
